I think there’s definitely something to be said about warm-up and finding a groove as a team. It came together nicely for a first go but it’ll only get easier as we go on. Like The View. Only we’ll be better. And less shrieky. Mostly.

Couldn’t agree more. Good times.

I’m actually surprised at how WELL the first podcast came together. I find it quite hilarious, but then again, I laugh at small kids in ugly tracksuits. I think having a rough script but not being too scripted was key. We were never grasping for what to talk about next but we were able to segue into another segment more quickly if something was lagging…we knew what was coming next. The level of preparation (or lack thereof?) seemed to help things progress.

Completely agree, Amy. Topics for discussion with some ideas from each of us brought to the table was the trick. I think we’ll really be able to work out lots of the kinks for episode two, as well.

Good times.
